When I was in Kindergarten, I memorized 26 Scripture verses using the A Beka Scripture Memory Cards~
When I discovered Courtney Defeo and these gorgeous ABC Scripture Cards that she has designed, I immediately fell in love.
How important it is for us to help our little ones hide the Scriptures in their hearts. The Scriptures that I learned as a child are the ones that have truly stuck, and I get excited about any tool that will help me grow my little ones in this way.

Jeremiah 29:11 is my fave. I have it memorized, it was a verse at our wedding, and has helped me through many times of waiting and rejection.

I love these cards! If I don't win, I'll have to be getting some! I've had several verses mean different things throughout my life, but right now - in the midst of an adoption, John 14:18 has become so real to me. "I will not leave you as Orphans, I will come to you." Jesus' promise to the disciples (and us) that even though He had to leave, He would be returning. Amazing. We are no longer orphans, but Sons and Daughters!

ReplyDelete1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 " Rejoice Always, Pray Continually, Give Thanks in All Circumstances, for This is God's Will for You in Christ Jesus" I have this on my desk at work to remind me throughout the day. I love this and keep it close to my heart. I love these cards by the way-I have been meaning to order these. How cool would it be to win them!
