Our Number One Time-Saving Tip

If I've heard it once, I've heard it a thousand times!
People will ask us, "How on earth do you guys do everything that you do?",
and our answer is always the same.

You see, I have decided that people typically spend their time [and their money] exactly the way they want, and there is one thing that I choose to spend very little time doing.

Our #1 Time-Saving Tip

Time-Saving Tip

To put it simply: We don't watch a lot of television.

Sure, my kids watch cartoons if we're home for part of the morning (or if I'm laid up with morning sickness for weeks) & hubby and I will usually wind down with a show right before bed, but other than that, our television is not in use.

We don't watch a lot of movies.
It is a rare thing for us to binge-watch a series.
We catch our news on-line.

You get the idea, and when we do watch television, we watch the recorded version - so we're not wasting time watching commercial...after commercial...after commercial.

So, if you're frustrated by the mess in your house...if you don't feel like you have a lot of quality time together as family...if you can't seem to unbury from your to-do list, turn off your television (or take a break from any other screens that may be stealing your time). You'll be amazed at how much extra time you suddenly have on your hands!

I find television very educating. Every time somebody turns on the set, I go into the other room and read a book. - Groucho Marx
