This past weekend, we decided to head over to the Strawberry Patch for some strawberry picking!
This was a first-time experience for all of us...
and I'm not sure I remembered that the flowering part of a strawberry plant looks like this.
Even our youngest enjoyed this outing...in his own way, of course...
and we left with a batch of gorgeous strawberries.
I love using this strawberry huller that came from my hubby's grandmother's kitchen...
and I love using the strawberries as the perfect shortcake topping!
