Currently...

Welcome June!
Summer is in full swing, and each month is one step closer to our meeting our baby girl!
We are so excited!

Currently, I'm...

Playing - I love playing outside with my little ones! It is a whole lot more fun when Daddy is around, and he and I are able to work together to tackle our crew~ We love taking our kiddos to the park...

...and evening walks around the neighborhood are another favorite! Our walks usually include a wagon...and a bike...and you never know what else! We have decided that we need a whole other garage just to house the riding toys that belong to our children. It is truly out.of.control. and we blame the grandparents!

Going - I'm going to the doctor...going to the doctor...and going to the doctor some more.

Wearing - I am wearing the most comfortable Maternity clothes I can find! At this point, I am feeling large as a barge...hot...swollen...hot...large...hot...and there is still more of the summer to go! Please know that at this very moment, my AC is set on 64 degrees and my head crammed inside the freezer! It's the only way I know to survive~

Sipping - In the mornings, I am sipping half-caff coffee with cream...

During the day, I'm sipping cold water...In the evenings, I am sipping hot tea.

Reading - After allowing it to sit in my Amazon cart for oh, about three years or so, I finally ordered Loving the Little Years by Rachel Jankovic. If you have never read this little gem, you must, and then you need to turn right around and buy it for every young mama you know!

I have a number of books sitting on my nightstand waiting to be read, and I am determined to tackle them before our baby girl arrives! Next in the stack? The Fringe Hours by Jessica Turner - I have heard such great things about this book, and I am looking forward to diving in soon!

  3. First of all, we must be due around the same time... I'm July 29 :) Secondly, I MUST have that book. I'm literally ordering it in a different tab right now. Can't wait to read it! My kids are 3 and 1 1/2, and so I'm in the thick of that very time. Thanks for the tip!

  5. Loving the Little Years sounds like a great read! I'll have to add it to my Amazon cart. I am just finishing up The Fringe Hours and have really enjoyed it. It's so practical and has really made me reevaluate how I spend my extra bits of time each day. I think you'll love it!

  6. I spy a pioneer woman cookbook in your pinterest! I read through her cookbooks like novels. So good, and I love the stories behind her recipes!
