A Nursery Tour with All Kinds of Things (Isaac)

When it comes to nursery, I love a calming color scheme and simple decor.

Using 12 x 12 canvases, fabric, and a stapler, I made these wall--hangings.
For our nurseries,
I have simply chosen colors/items that I love
and that are easy to switch out over time - no specific theme in mind.

Large Pinwheels: On Clearance at Pottery Barn Kids

I recycled these shabby chic frames that once held hideous floral prints.

Fabric, heavy twine, and clothes pins were all I needed to create this fun banner. It hangs just over the changing station, and I look forward to using the clothespins to display ultrasound pictures, family photos, etc.

Baby Boy Helicopter: Garage Sale

Hobby Lobby, you never fail me.

I love these counting elephants that I found at a garage sale.
Using wrapping paper and a large canvas (and a couple of other vintage gems), I made a backdrop for them.

What a beautiful baby gift we received from David's Aunt and Uncle -  A perfect wooden block!
 I believe it came from an Etsy store, but I'm not sure which one. This sweet thing spoke to me as soon as we opened it. Each side of the block includes info about our baby boy, his birth, our family, etc. Absolutely Precious.

Don't worry! My infant does not sleep with a pillow in his crib - I know that's what you were thinking...;-)

Organization:

I use size organizers in both of my boys' closets - It makes it easy to keep their future sizes organized.

These storage baskets from Kohls are great for closet organization! I also use a similar type of basket on the changing table/dresser to hold diapers, etc.
