July 4th is on its way, and I am starting to get excited about all of the red, white, and blue!
This year, celebrate with this fun Flag Cake:
I usually start by baking a plain white cake.
After the cake cools, I top it with Cool Whip and then add blueberries and strawberries to make the flag design.
I have seen this done lots of different ways, but this picture shows how I did mine last year.
(That third row of strawberries looks a little high to me, but hey, it tasted great!)
This year, keep it fun & easy!
