Scattered - All Over the Place

David and I have decided to celebrate the Oreo's 100th Birthday all.month.long. He has started making me these little oreo milkshake things...anyway - Ever added a little dab of vanilla flavoring to your icecream? Mmmmm! Where has this little trick been all my life? Reminder to self: You're not supposed to be eating sugar - Shut up, self!

Saturday afternoon - while David was at Lowes (his favorite alone-time hangout) - I watched that morning's episode of "Pioneer Woman". I usually save her for the week ahead....so I was a little disappointed to not see her on the Tivo Monday morning.

Have you seen "My Crazy Obsession"? The show is unbelievable, but everytime I think the nutsos on the show are simply actors, I meet someone who confirms that people that crazy really do exist. Heaven, help us!

This past week, I got to catch up - by phone - with a couple of old friends. While new friends are fun, old friends are the best, aren't they?

I admit it - I think Justin Beiber is adorable, but I would like to slap him silly over the way he wears his pants - ridiculous!

Speaking of people looking goofy in their pants, Birkdale [for you locals] is hands-down the best place to people watch - Second only to the Las Vegas strip.

People-watching is one of mine and David's favorite things to do! When Caleb was just a couple of weeks old, my parents babysat for us while we drove over to Birkdale, sat on a bench, and checked out all the passer-byers. Pathetic? Nah - I love that memory!

I've been hitting Kid's Consignment Sales one.right.after.the.other lately - It's been so much fun! I've found Caleb so many great toys, cute clothes, and of course, books! Below is a picture of the cleaning process that some of the toys had to go through before they could be packed away for future play. (Yes, there are three Mr. Potato Heads soaking in the water - Don't you just love Mr. Potato Head?!)

Did someone mention Caleb? Let me tell you something else about him - he's quite the little independent sleeper, but this past weekend he took a couple of snoozes while lying on my chest and I loved every second. I'm afraid I'm going to blink and he's going to be a grown man with big feet, smelly socks, etc. - You get the idea.

Our little man is getting more and more mobile - finding his way across the room if we're not paying close attention. He pushes off - He scoots - He rolls - and he wants to crawl so badly, but we've got a little ways to go on that. This is how we oftentimes find him sleeping these days, though:

Sometimes I love these scattered - all over the place - posts the most! They are a true glimpse into my "all over the place" brain!
